The poem contest has officially ended - and the winners will be announced today! If you have been following the contest lately, you may have noticed that the prizes have not been announced. They haven't been announced at all during the contest period. This is a new type of contest; therefore this contest specifically is like the Guinea pig. How did you like participating in a contest where the prizes were not announced during the participation period? Did it do less to inspire you to submit a good entry or give you a good thrill and inspiration to submit a good entry because you like surprises?

The contest winners, WITH the prizes will be announced this evening very soon. Check back soon!

Update: It's taking longer than expected to read these. We received near 50 poems!

Okay Chobots, this week we've got another creative contest in store for you all. A poetry contest! The details for this contest are listed below.

- The poem can be free-style; there does not have to be any standardized structure or rhyming present
- It can be any length
- The poem must be about winter time
- Use of puns are a bonus
- Use of rhyming is a bonus
- Use of word play is a bonus

We are so interested to hear all your clever poems! The contest begins today, however the prize items will be revealed in a blog post Wednesday this week. The contest will end on Friday. Prize winners will be announced in a blog post on Saturday. While the prizes are a surprise for now, I can tell you that they include citizenship!
